Delete your SoulDu account

You can delete your SoulDu account and all its data at any time, from the app or by writing to us. SoulDu is run by Pedro Iglesias, Eitminų g. 66, Vilnius, Lietuva.

From the app

• Open SoulDu and go to Profile → Options → Delete account.
• Confirm with Delete permanently. If you signed in a while ago, the app asks you to sign in again first, so nobody else can delete your account from your phone.
• The deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.

Without the app

If you no longer have the app or cannot sign in, write to privacy@souldu.com from the email address you use in SoulDu (if you sign in with Google or Apple, the address of that account) with the subject "Delete my account". We may ask you to confirm the request from that address. We delete the account within 30 days, usually much sooner, and confirm it by email.

What is deleted

• Your account, profile, photos and questionnaire answers.
• The ratings you gave and received, your blocks and your matches.
• Your messages. Your current match ends, so the other person is free to meet someone else.

What is kept, and for how long

• Reports you made about other people stay, without your name, so we can finish reviewing them. Reports made about you are kept for up to one year after they are resolved.
• Entries in our security log (for example "a match ended") are kept for one year.
• Backups are overwritten within 30 days.

Deleting only some data

You do not need to delete your account to remove some data: you can delete photos (keeping at least two), change or skip questionnaire answers, and withdraw your consent to the politics and religion questions, which deletes those answers. In Profile → Options you can also download a copy of all your data.

To be removed from the waiting list, write to privacy@souldu.com.
