Terms of use

These terms are the agreement between you and Pedro Iglesias, Eitminų g. 66, Vilnius, Lietuva ("we") for using SoulDu. By creating an account you accept them. Please also read our privacy policy.

Who can use SoulDu

• You must be at least 18 years old.
• One account per person, for your own use only. The photos must be of you, and the name and age must be yours.
• You may not use SoulDu if we have banned you before, or if you have been convicted of a sexual or violent offence.

How SoulDu works

You rate people in your city from 1 to 10 and answer a questionnaire. When two people have rated each other at least as high as each requires and both are free, the algorithm introduces them: one match at a time. While you have a match, you do not see anyone else. You can end a match whenever you want; SoulDu then looks for the next best person who is free. We do not promise that you will get a match or that a match will work out.

Zero tolerance for abuse

SoulDu has no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive people. You may not:

• Harass, threaten, insult or intimidate anyone, or send sexual content nobody asked for.
• Post nudity, sexual content, violence, hate or discrimination, or anything involving minors.
• Pretend to be someone else, use other people's photos or give a false age.
• Ask for money or gifts, promote products or services, scam, or spam.
• Use SoulDu for sex work or any illegal activity.
• Collect other people's data, use bots or automated access, or try to get around our security.

We review reports and act on them within 24 hours. If you break these rules we may remove content, end your match and ban your account permanently, without notice when the case is serious.

Your content

The photos, texts and messages you add are yours. You give us a non-exclusive, free licence to store them and show them to the people who are allowed to see them, only to run SoulDu, for as long as they are in your account. You are responsible for what you post and you must have the right to post it.

Your safety

We do not run criminal background checks or verify identities. Be careful with what you share, meet in a public place the first times and tell someone you trust where you will be. If someone makes you feel unsafe, block and report them from the match screen; if you are in danger, call 112.

Moderation decisions

If we remove your content or restrict or ban your account, we tell you why, unless the law or someone's safety prevents it. If you disagree, write to privacy@souldu.com within six months: a person who did not take the original decision will review it. You can also turn to an out-of-court dispute settlement body certified under the EU Digital Services Act, or to the courts. To report illegal content, use the report button in the app or write to privacy@souldu.com.

Price

SoulDu is free. If we ever add paid features, we will tell you the price and the conditions in advance, and nothing will be charged without your express agreement.

Ending

You can delete your account at any time from the app (how). We may stop providing SoulDu to you if you break these terms, and we may stop the service altogether with at least 30 days' notice.

Liability

SoulDu is provided as it is. We are not responsible for how other people behave, inside or outside the app. Nothing in these terms limits our liability where the law does not allow it, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for your rights as a consumer.

Changes

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will tell you in the app at least 30 days before. If you do not accept the change, you can delete your account before it applies.

Law and disputes

Lithuanian law applies, without taking away the protection that the law of the country where you live gives you as a consumer. If you have a complaint, write to us first at privacy@souldu.com. You can also turn to the State Consumer Rights Protection Authority of Lithuania (vvtat.lt) or to the courts of your place of residence.
